DETROIT – Police officers tackled a shooting suspect on the roof of a minivan in the middle of I-75 in Detroit after the man led them on a high-speed chase throughout the city.

The man led several police vehicles on a high-speed chase while driving a charcoal gray SUV. After entering and exiting the freeway several times, the SUV got a flat tire, and the man was forced to flee on foot.

The man got out of the SUV, jumped over the median and ran into oncoming traffic on I-75. He tried to hurdle a minivan, but got flipped onto the hood. He climbed onto the roof of the minivan, where police officers surrounded him.
He was tackled to the ground and taken into custody by several officers.
