Manchester Community Schools closed Monday after threat received over weekend

MANCHESTER, Mich. – The Manchester Community Schools district canceled classes at all three of its schools on Monday after a threat was received over the weekend. 

The superintendent said the district received a social media threat Saturday evening. The high school, middle school and Luther C. Klager Elementary School all were closed Monday as a precautionary measure.

Police have searched the schools with a K-9 and gave the all-clear. They are confident there is no threat. 

Classes are expected to resume at all three schools on Tuesday.
