DETROIT – Northbound and southbound lanes of I-75 have been reopened after flooding closed the freeway for several hours Sunday.
On Sunday afternoon, flooding from the winter storm had caused all lanes of I-75 to close between 7 Mile and 8 Mile roads.

Drivers were backed up on the highway, as sections of the roadway had several inches of standing water.

Northbound I-75 is backed up between 7 Mile and 8 Mile roads, as well.
Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route, as the flooding is causing long backups.
