HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A woman was found dead Wednesday morning on Shook Road in Harrison Township.
The woman's body was found in the road about 5:15 a.m. Investigators believe the woman was struck by a vehicle. This is considered a "suspicious" hit-and-run investigation.

UPDATE: Boyfriend arrested after body found in middle of Harrison Township road
Police said a man saw the woman and called police as he was driving through the area.
The intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Shook Road was closed early Wednesday morning.
No other details are known at this time.
Macomb County Sheriff's deputies are investigating.
Woman identified; boyfriend in custody
The Sheriff's Office identified the woman as 33-year-old Danielle Labellarte, of Warren. She had been staying at the Ruth Motel on Jefferson Avenue with her boyfriend, according the Sheriff's Office.
Labellarte's boyfriend is in custody and being held at the Macomb County Jail.
