Weather: High 91°, Low 73° ⛈️

There is a risk for severe weather today in Michigan. However, it may not impact southeastern Michigan as severely. Here's how Ben Bailey put it: "Expect a few thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with a slightly better chance around midnight. That’s when weakening storms from west Michigan will arrive."

Great news for Hamtramck schools today! The We Are Here Foundation will donate more than $12,000 (two truckloads) worth of school furniture including chairs and desks to the Hamtramck Public Schools district. The organization said it has already supplied the Hamtramck Public Schools with more than 10 other truckloads in the past years, furniture the school district cannot afford. Organizers say most school districts in southeastern Michigan cannot afford basic furniture and often rely on services like the We Are Here Foundation to fill those gaps.
