🚧 MDOT lifts traffic restrictions for Labor Day weekend travel
Some actual GOOD traffic news if you're on the road this weekend. MDOT is removing lane restrictions on more than two-thirds of its road and bridge projects statewide to ease traffic delays for holiday travelers. Find the full list of projects here.

Spartans kick off 2019 season in East Lansing 🏈
The Michigan State Spartans will host Tulsa on Friday night at Spartan Stadium. MSU is ranked No. 18 in the preseason AP Top 25 poll. Check out their full schedule here.
Pistons hosting fitness event in Eastern Market 💪
The Detroit Pistons will host a Fitness Bootcamp at Detroit's Eastern Market, inside Shed 5. The event is the final activity in the organization's Pistons Fit Summer Series. The class will be led by Planet Fitness trainers, Pistons Dancers and Pistons Extreme Team members.

Hurricane Dorian is strengthening as it moves toward the U.S. Southeast coast. The National Hurricane Center says the storm could grow into a dangerous Category 4 storm by Labor Day as it pushes northwest in the general direction of Florida. Track the latest information here.
