"Light It Blue" is a national effort to raise disease awareness and support for men affected by prostate cancer. The blue lights will serve as a visual reminder that prostate cancer continues to affect 1 in 9 men. The Karmanos Cancer Institute is one of many U.S. landmarks across 50 states (and the District of Columbia) that will be lit blue to signify unity and to support research efforts in finding a cure for prostate cancer.

Today in 1999: Phil Collins tops the Billboard charts 📻

20 years ago, Phil Collins had another No. 1 hit song atop the Billboard charts with "You'll Be In My Heart," which first topped the charts in May 1999. The Backstreet Boys hit "I Want It That Way" knocked the Phil Collins hit off the top eventually. What a time to be alive.

Today's featured photo: Did you catch the Northern Lights in Michigan? This amazing moment was captured by @mark_o_foto on Instagram near Crisp Point Light in the Upper Peninsula on Saturday.

"Along the northern shores of Michigan's upper peninsula, down a 19-mile dirt/sand mixed road barely wide enough for 2 cars to pass, sits Crisp Point Light. We arrived just before sunset giving us time to scope out the area before the dark skies set in and the Northern Lights started to dance! It was a long day, very late night, but worth every minute."
