DETROIT – Police are investigating after two people were fatally shot Thursday on Detroit's west side.
It happened at about 12:30 p.m. in the 15000 block of Sorrento Street, just west of the John C. Lodge Freeway.

According to authorities, the victims were a man and a woman who were both shot multiple times. They were discovered when someone came to the house to check on them.
No further details were given.
The investigation is ongoing.
