MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – Madison Heights police are investigating a hit-and-run on Dequindre Road near Jenifer Street that killed a 54-year-old man.
The victim was found lying in the south-bound lane of Dequindre Road about 8 p.m. Tuesday. Multiple people stopped to block traffic until first responders arrived, according to the Madison Heights Police Department.
The victim was seen asking for money prior to the incident and is suspected of being homeless, according to the MHPD.
