22-year-old St. Clair County man seriously injured in single-car crash in Macomb County

BRUCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 22-year-old man is facing life threatening injuries after crashing his car into a tree early Friday morning in Bruce Township.

Michigan State Police responded to the crash just after midnight. The scene was at Ebeling Road, east of Van Dyke Avenue.

Here’s the info from MSP:

“On scene investigation revealed that a passenger vehicle was driving westbound on Ebeling Road east of Van Dyke Avenue when it ran-off the roadway to the right, struck a culvert, and went airborne before colliding with a tree and coming to rest.

The 22 year old male driver from Capac was entrapped and needed to be extricated by the Bruce/Romeo Fire Department before being transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Alcohol may be factor in this incident. The investigation is continuing.”
