NOVI, Mich. – One person was arrested and another injured in a Novi drunken driving crash Saturday.
On Saturday at around 1:20 a.m. police responded to a two vehicle crash on westbound I-696 underneath the Haggerty Road overpass.

When police arrived they located one car crashed into the median and a second car pushed into the right side guardrail. The second vehicle was abandoned and unoccupied.
Police say the driver who crashed into the median was driving while drunk. The driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated and causing serious injury. Police say passenger was taken to a local hospital and listed in guarded condition.
