PETOSKEY, Mich. – A Munith, Michigan man has been charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and one count of felony firearm.
Detectives from Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement were acting on a tip when they found Mark Adam Johnson, 42, in a motel room in Petoskey. They contacted Johnson and searched his room on Oct. 3. They found methamphetamine, a semi-automatic rifle with four loaded magazines and two boxes of ammunition.

Johnson is accused of selling methamphetamine in Charlevoix and Emmet Counties. Johnson was arrested and taken to the Emmet County jail on Oct. 4 He was arraigned on Oct. 31 in the 90th District Court in Emmet County.
He was released on a $50,000 cash surety bond. He’s scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 6 at 8 a.m. for a probable cause conference.
