DETROIT – Two Detroit men connected to separate murder cases in the state of Michigan were arrested Tuesday during a drug bust in West Virginia, authorities said.
Officials in Rupert, West Virginia, executed a search warrant around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday inside a home.

Police found multiple handguns, a loaded tactical shotgun, methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, digital scales and about $3,000 in cash, according to authorities.
Multiple baggies of meth and a handgun were found in a parked vehicle, police said.
Reondo “Jose” Ventour, 22, of Detroit, was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and fugitive from justice from the state of Michigan, authorities said.
Ventour has been charged with first-degree murder in Michigan, according to officials. He was taken to the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Dekarie “Jesus” Kennedy, 23, of Detroit, was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, officials said. He is expected to be charged with fugitive from justice from the state of Michigan for a felony drug offense, according to authorities.
Kennedy is a suspect in a separate homicide case in Michigan, police said. He was taken to the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
James Martin, 30, of Rupert, was found inside the vehicle with the baggies of meth and the handgun, police said. He is charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
Martin is being held at the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Jordan Killen, 27, of Rupert, is charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, police said. She is being held at the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
The case remains under investigation.
