New Royal Oak grocery store looking to hire 60 people before opening

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – Woodward Corner Market, scheduled to open in January, is a new neighborhood grocery store that will feature Michigan products and fresh produce.

The store is looking to hire 60 people for both full and part-time positions in all departments, including grocery, dairy, bakery and meat/seafood, to work in its first location in Royal Oak near the Beaumont development at 13 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue.

Candidates should be “hard-working, positive people who have a willing to learn and the drive to be a part of something new. Store leadership is looking for people passionate about fresh food, local product and providing value for the community,” according to a company release.

Those interested should first apply online at www.woodwardcornermarket.com. Qualified candidates will receive a scheduled interview time for the hiring event taking place Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hyatt Place Royal Oak, 422 N. Main St.
