DETROIT – Ben Davis is a Metro Detroit military veteran who has overcome tremendous injuries to defy the doctors who said he couldn’t walk normally again.
Monday, Veteran’s Day, Davis is running for 22 hours to raise money to help other veterans.
Davis chose that number because, according to a 2013 study, an average of 22 veterans die by suicide each day.
