AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – An Auburn Hills woman and her boyfriend are accused of strangling her roommate to death at Clark Atlanta University.
Police said Jordyn Jones, 21, of Auburn Hills, and her boyfriend were responsible for the murder of Alexis Crawford.
A woman at the home in Auburn Hills told Local 4 she would speak to us, but she never answered the door. Out front were several cars with stickers showing they’re parents of a Clark University student in Atlanta.
On social media, Jones says she’s a graduate of Avondale High School in Auburn Hills.
On Wednesday night, she’s in an Atlanta jail, charged with felony murder.
Crawford, Jones’ roommate, went missing earlier this month, sparking frantic searches. Crawford had filed a sexual assault complaint against Jones’ boyfriend weeks earlier, according to authorities.
The boyfriend told police that he strangled Crawford and Jones put a trash bag over her head, officials said.
Crawford’s body was found dumped in a park, police said.
