Catalytic converters stolen from cars at four different locations in Royal Oak, officials say

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – Catalytic converters were stolen from cars at four different locations last week in Royal Oak, officials said.

In all four instances, police received calls from the owners of the vehicles that the catalytic converters had been stolen.

The first incident happened around between 1:30 p.m. Nov. 6 and 5 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 3800 block of Devon Road, police said.

Another incident occurred between 6:30 p.m. Nov. 6 and 8:15 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 4000 block of Crooks Road, according to authorities.

The third person reported a theft between 9 p.m. Nov. 8 and noon Nov. 9 in the 5100 block of Crooks Road, officials said.

The final theft happened between 9 p.m. Nov. 8 and noon Nov. 9 in the 700 block of South Pleasant Street, police said.
