DETROIT – Two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting that happened Friday afternoon in the 13900 block of the Southfield Service Drive in Detroit.

A 20 and 25 year old man were arrested for the shooting. Weapons were recovered during the arrests.

Police say a 22-year-old was driving in the area inside a black Chevy Impala Friday when the shooting started. A blue Pontiac G-6 pulled up next to the vehicle and someone inside started firing shots, striking the victim.

The victim was treated at the scene and refused additional medical treatment.
