Recall issued on cold smoked salmon

Salmon sold between Mar. 9 to Sept. 17

DETROIT – Sullivan Harbor Farm has issued a recall for cold smoked salmon due to potential bacteria contamination.

The salmon was sold between Mar. 9 and Sept. 17 in vacuum-sealed packaging. Although no illnesses have been reported, it is important to check your freezers.

The bacteria is dangerous and health officials are cautioning people not to eat the salmon even if it doesn’t look or smell spoiled.
