3 gunshot victims drive to Detroit Police 12th Precinct for help

Victims shot while driving away from restaurant

DETROIT – Crime tape surrounded the Detroit Police Department’s 12th Precinct early Tuesday morning.

A minivan was parked outside of the building on 7 Mile Road, west of Woodward Avenue, with bullet holes in the front window. Several police officers were searching the vehicle.

Police confirm that three gunshot victims were in the vehicle; a 25-year-old woman, a 39 year-old woman and a 39-year-old man.

Investigators said the victims were leaving a restaurant and heading west on 7 Mile Road when a dark colored sedan pulled up and someone inside opened fire on the vehicle. The victims then drove to the police precinct for help. The three victims were taken to the hospital and are in temporary serious condition.

No arrests have been made.
