ALGONAC, Mich. – A 31-year-old Westland man was shot Monday in Algonac.
According to authorities, it happened at about 7 p.m. in the 800 block of St. Clair River Drive.

The victim was taken to the fire department before he was rushed to a hospital.
Police do not believe it was a random shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
