A total solar eclipse will be witnessed Monday across much of North America, including right here in the Midwest.
While much of Michigan is not within the eclipse’s path of totality, those in the state will still get to see a partial eclipse on Monday, April 8. For those within the totality path, who will see the eclipse at 100%: The moon will completely eclipse the sun for a moment, causing a brief period of darkness and a display of strange shadows.
It’s something Michiganders won’t see again for several years.
