TAMPA, Fla. – Hurricane Milton is forecasted to bring a major storm to Florida this week.
Thousands are being asked to evacuate areas in and around Tampa Bay and along Florida’s West Coast as the storm moves towards landfall.

Charlotte County
- Evacuation Order: Mandatory
- Evacuation Info: As of October 7, 2024, Charlotte County Emergency Management has issued evacuation orders for residents in:
