ORLANDO – Hurricane Milton is approaching Florida as a potentially catastrophic storm.
Less than two weeks after the devastation of Hurricane Helene, Milton is heading toward Florida’s west coast at Category 4 strength, as of Tuesday morning.
It’s expected to make landfall late Wednesday, but the outer bands are already affecting the Gulf Coast. The eye of the storm is likely to reach land sometime overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
