BROWNSTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Michigan State Police troopers said they found 45 pounds of marijuana in the truck of a car they pulled over on I-75 in Brownstown Township.
Troopers stopped a 2016 Dodge Dart around 4:35 p.m. Tuesday on southbound I-75 near Gibraltar Road for following another car too closely.

When troopers talked to the driver, they smelled marijuana and searched the car. They found about 45 pounds of marijuana in the trunk of the Dart.
The 25-year-old West Bloomfield man driving the Dart said he was taking the marijuana to Toledo, Ohio. He was arrested for possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
The man is being held at a nearby jail.
