WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a fire Thursday at a Washington Township home.
Police said multiple fire departments responded at 2:36 p.m. to help extinguish the fire at a house on Hidden Oak Lane. Police said flames were seen coming from the home.

A 43-year-old woman who was in the home was able to get out without injuries, police said.
