BIRMINGHAM, Mich. – Birmingham police are looking for a man who, police say, tried to lure two teenage girls into his car Sunday evening at Old Woodward Avenue and Hamilton Row.
The man was standing outside his parked vehicle and as the girls walked past him he said, "Would you girls like some candy from a stranger?" police say.

He opened his car door, put his keys on the roof of the vehicle and started walking toward them. The girls turned and ran away from the man. They did not see him again, police said.
He is described as a white man in his 30s with a dark beard and dark hair combed back. He was wearing sunglasses and driving a red sports car, possibly a Ford Mustang.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the man.
