Detroit Police: No threat at 6th precinct after report of suspicious package

Detroit – Police say there's no threat at the Detroit Police Department's 6th precinct, after a suspicious package was found by the building.

The 6th precinct is located at 11450 Warwick Street on Detroit's west side.

Police say the package, found outside the door, was some sort of electrical device that was deemed to not be an explosive device.

The all clear was given and officers reentered the building after evacuating the building around 8 a.m. Sunday.
