TROY, Mich. – An Emagine movie theater is scheduled to open at 15251 23 Mile Road on the northeast corner of Hayes Road in Macomb County on Dec. 19.
The theater is being built in a former Kroger grocery store. The new theater will include:

- An Emagine "E-Max" auditorium featuring a floor-to-ceiling screen and an immersive sound system
- 100 percent reserved seating featuring power recliners
- A full-service cocktail bar with extensive wine and beer selections including local craft brews. The bar includes sofas, high tops, tables and chairs and two stone fireplaces
- Teaming up with the culinary artists from Plymouth's Ironwood Grill, a chef will prepare your meal in a full service display kitchen complete with a stone hearth oven. Emagine Macomb will serve fresh made-to-order food available for immediate pick-up or delivered right to your seat

Emagine Macomb will create more than 50 new jobs and the facility was designed and built to be energy efficient.
With the addition of Emagine Macomb, Emagine Entertainment, Inc. will operate 89 movie screens at eight locations throughout southeast Michigan.
