DETROIT – A man has been detained by police after opening fire through his back door and shooting a woman.
Police said he told them the woman is a family friend and was banging on his back door. He said he thought she was an intruder.
The shooting happened Monday night in the area of Artesian Street and Fenkell Avenue in Detroit.
