Search underway for gunman who opened fire on off-duty Taylor police officer
Suspect's vehicle exited at Livernois
DETROIT – A search is underway for a gunman who opened fire on an off-duty Taylor police officer on I-94 in Detroit on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
Michigan State Police said shots were fired at the off-duty police officers car on the eastbound lanes. No injuries were reported.
Investigators said they are looking for a red car that exited at Livernois after the shooting.
