GROSSE ILE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A man was killed Saturday in a plane crash on the south side of Grosse Ile.
UPDATE: Man killed in place crash identified as 57-year-old from Lincoln Park
He was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries, where he died.
He was flying an experimental ultralight plane and witnesses said the plane clipped a tree and crashed in the woods behind a neighborhood.
He was the only person on board.
The FAA and NTSB is investigating.
