Fraser fire department investigates building collapse on east side

Collapse not caused by gas explosion, officials say

FRASER, Mich. – Firefighters are investigating the cause of a building collapse on Saturday on Fraser’s east side.

Half of a building has collapsed on Groesbeck Highway near 14 Mile Road.

Officials from Consumers Energy say they conducted an investigation and the collapse was not caused by a gas explosion.

This is an ongoing investigation.
