TAYLOR, Mich. – The westbound lanes of I-94 were closed at Telegraph Road for several hours Thursday morning for a police investigation after a shooting on the interstate.
Michigan State Police said troopers were dispatched about 3:50 a.m. to a shooting on the freeway. A man said he had been shot at while driving on westbound I-94 near Ecorse Road. The driver was not hurt and continued driving to work. He called 911.

Police believe the other vehicle involved was a white Pontiac. They believe this started as a traffic altercation between two drivers. The man who called police is a concealed pistol license (CPL) holder. He was missing ammunition from his weapon, police said.
No arrests have been announced.
The interstate was shut down for an investigation but has since reopened.
