Deadly stabbing reported on Seeden Avenue in Waterford Township

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A man is in police custody after his wife was fatally stabbed at a home on Seeden Avenue in Waterford Township, Local 4 and ClickOnDetroit have learned Friday morning.

Police said they received the 911 call about 3:18 a.m. Officers arrived at the home and were met by a 38-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman. The woman had suffered a stab wound to her chest, police said. She was transported to a hospital where she died.

The man was taken into custody. A knife was recovered.

The couple were married and lived at the home with their 13-year-old daughter, police said. The girl was not physically harmed.
