DETROIT – Police are investigating a Friday morning shooting that injured two men and killed a woman.
According to authorities, three people were leaving from a gathering near the intersection of McNicols Road and Avon Avenue just before 1:30 a.m. when someone started shooting at them, striking all three. A 26-year-old man and a 31-year-man are expected to survive, but a 27-year-old woman was killed.
Police said the suspected gunman got into a black Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Limo, which went eastbound on McNichols Road and then south on the Southfield Service Drive.
