DETROIT – Police are investigating a fatal shooting after a man’s body was found Friday morning on Detroit’s east side.
According to authorities, the body of a man was found in the grass near the intersection of Troester Street and Kelly Road just before 9:30 a.m.

Police said he had suffered a gunshot wound to his body.
