Police locate suspect vehicle in shooting at Monroe gas station

MONROE, Mich. – Police investigating a shooting that left one man injured at a gas station in Monroe have located the suspect’s vehicle.

A be on the lookout notice was sent out to officers on Monday. Monroe police said the vehicle has since been located and secured in police storage.

ORIGINAL: Man injured in shooting at Monroe gas station, police say

Officers responded to the Valero gas station on Monroe Street around 3:25 p.m. on Saturday, according to police.

They located a man in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital and last listed in stable condition.

Police described the gunman as a Black man between the ages of 20 and 30 with a smaller build. He has black hair and was wearing dark clothing, according to police.

He fled the scene in a light silver Cadillac with four doors and tinted windows.
