NOVI, Mich. – A man was killed in single-car crash Monday morning along eastbound I-96 near Beck Road in Novi.
The crash happened about 4 a.m. Monday. Michigan State Police said only one car, a Mercury Grand Marquis, was involved in this crash.

The driver was a 67-year-old man from Farmington Hills. He was the sole occupant.
Police said the Marquis traveled off of I-96 and onto the right shoulder, ultimately striking the guardrail. The driver was killed upon impact, state police said.
The interstate was shut down for hours Monday morning, but has since reopened to traffic.
