DETROIT – Eastbound I-94 at Woodward Avenue in Detroit was closed Monday afternoon as the result of a bullet casings search from a shooting, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
MDOT announced the closure and search for the bullet casings around 2 p.m. Monday. Shortly after 4 p.m. Monday the area was back open.
A tow truck driver reported he was shot at by the suspect.
State police say this was a road rage shooting and the suspect pulled off to the side of the freeway and started firing shots at the tow truck driver.
No one was hurt.
