Outdoor easter egg hunt to be held at Dossin Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle in Detroit

Event for kids of all ages begins Saturday

DETROIT – Children are invited to hunt for eggs on the Dossin Great Lakes Museum’s two riverfront lawns Saturday during its first Easter egg-stravaganza.

Enjoy family friendly music while searching for the golden egg to get a special prize. After the hunt, families can participate in a take-home craft workshop or grab lunch from food truck ¡Whoa Tacos!, which will be on-site all afternoon.

The event features two staggered entrance times 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to ensure social distancing.

Tickets are $12 for kids ages six to 17, $8 for ages two to six and free for children under two.

The Dossin Great Lakes Museum is located at 100 Strand Drive on Belle Isle.

Admission is free with a $5 suggested donation.
