VIDEO: Detroit police seek 3 people of interest in connection with a shooting on city’s west side

Victim expected to survive

DETROIT – Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating and identifying three people of interest wanted in connection to a shooting on Detroit’s west side.

According to authorities, a 22-year-old woman was shot by an unknown person at about 11:30 p.m., April 9. Police said there was a large gathering was taking place near the intersection of Vancouver Street and Northfield Avenue and someone began firing shots into the crowd.

A security camera captured three people -- two men and a woman -- in the area with guns.

Video of the three can be seen above.

The victim was rushed to a hospital by medical staff and is expected to be OK.
