DETROIT – A family is searching for answers on the one year anniversary of a woman’s disappearance in Detroit.
Krista Daniel has been missing since April 22, 2020 -- last seen near Eight Mile Road and Hawthorne Street. Investigators believe Daniel was assaulted, possibly shot and put in the back of a car.
Daniel’s daughter spoke on Thursday about her mother and asked for anyone with information to come forward.
“She was wildly intelligent and compassionate, caring, and she had one of the biggest hearts. She fell into life that was no good for her. This doesn’t mean that she was a bad person and it doesn’t diminish her value,” said Hanna Daniel.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,750 for information that leads to Daniel’s location.
