In both separate robberies on those days the victims reported being approached by the teen inside the store. The victims say he demanded their phones and was armed with a gun.

During the second incident the victim refused to give the teen his phone and called police with a description of him.

When officers arrived to the scene they arrested the teen who had an airsoft pistol, a toy gun designed to look like a real handgun.

On Monday, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office authorized petitions on both robberies.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pittsfield Township Police Department at 734-822-4958.
