Tracking DTE Energy power outages in SE Michigan -- Sept. 9, 2021

Thousands in dark after storms Monday

DETROIT – Storms are rolling through Southeast Michigan on Monday afternoon, causing some power outages in the area.

As of 3:29 p.m., DTE Energy reported more than 17,000 customers were without power.

Officials say more than 179 crews were in the field working to restore power at that time.
