BROWNSTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Monroe County officials arrested a suspected sex offender after detectives conducted an undercover operation on social media.
Patrick Neal Hensley, 43, of Brownstown Township, was arrested Tuesday (Sept. 28) after members of the Violent Internet Predator & Exploitation Response task force conducted their undercover operation, according to authorities.

Officials said Hensley was taken into custody when he had contact with law enforcement on an unrelated matter. He was taken to the Monroe County Jail, police said.
Hensley was charged Wednesday in First District Court on two felony charges of accosting children for immoral purposes and using a computer to commit a crime.
He is being held on $10,000 bond and must wear a GPS tether if released.
