Police investigate pedestrian killed in Southfield collision

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A 63-year-old man from Detroit died Sunday afternoon after he was struck by a vehicle in Southfield.

According to authorities, the collision happened at about 3:45 p.m. near the intersection of Northwestern Highway and Telegraph Road. Police said life-saving measures were administered and the victim was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
