MELVINDALE, Mich. – Police are searching for a man in connection with the overdose death of a woman who was found dead last October inside a car in Melvindale.
Lekryssa Brooks, 24, of Monroe, was found dead Oct. 8, 2020, inside a 2007 Toyota Corolla at Martel Avenue and Harman Street, according to authorities.

Officials are searching for Larry Stapleton, 49, in connection with the investigation into Brooks’ death, they said.
