LINCOLN PARK, Mich. – A 41-year-old man was shot and killed overnight in Lincoln Park, police said.
The shooting happened Sunday night into Monday morning on University Avenue between Howard Avenue and Lafayette Boulevard, according to officials.

Authorities said they believe the 41-year-old man was a Detroit resident.
Michigan State Police troopers are helping with the case.
It’s still very early in the investigation, police said. No further information was revealed.
