Woman wanted for firing gun at driver in parking lot of Detroit liquor store, police say

DETROIT – Detroit police are searching for a woman who was caught on video firing a gun at another woman as she tried to leave the parking lot of a liquor store, officials said.

The shooting happened around 11:25 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 10) in the 9000 block of Hayes Street on Detroit’s east side.

Officials said a 25-year-old woman was trying to drive away from the liquor store’s parking lot in a silver 2012 Kia Rio when another fired shots at her. The Rio was struck by gunfire, according to authorities.

The shooter fled the scene in a black Ford Escape, along with several other people, police said.
